When we created the CAT 1 version of our Black Flag, it quickly became one of our more popular FR neck gaiter styles. We are now offering a CAT 2 version of our Black Flag Flag FR face mask so you can stay protected and look great at the same time.

Our new CAT 2 rated Black Flag flame resistant neck gaiter has an Arc Rating of (ATPV) = 8.7 cal/cm2. In addition, this FR Cloth Face Covering (FRCFC) meets the requirements of NFPA 2112-2018.

While we designed it to protect against arc flash and flash fire, we also made it lightweight and comfortable to wear. We used our Benchmark FR 6.2 oz, cotton jersey material which will help keep you cooler on those hot days and even take the chill off a bit when temperatures get cooler. Because our material is safe to wear against your skin, you don’t have to worry about rashes or skin irritation. It can also be washed with your regular laundry. The only things you shouldn’t do is use bleach or fabric softener.
